Covered Up in a Virus

I used the South African flag as a mask that covered his mouth and nose.

If you don’t see the mouth or hands it is difficult to show emotions, so the only place where I could show emotions that the man is sick was in his eyes. It was hard to get the right feeling, and I made the eyes very dark and use bags under his eyes. The fact that he has a blanket also helped to show the man is not well and cold.

I leave a lot of space around him to show the social distance which we have to do now with the COVID 19 Virus.
