Today I put notes in as well, that help me with the recording. In the notes I write all sorts of things, please go through it and see if you find something interesting. I also got my first assignment today so I am very happy about that.

I draw this sketch from a photo that I got on the net. I think I did a very good job with it, I used two different pencils, a B, and a B3. I get the feeling that I work more three dimensional. Especially on the left-hand side. I did good work with the hair, and I also spend a lot of time on the hair. So that is a good thing to understand and practice the hair a bit.

I used a man with a cigarette because I read an article on news24 about the cigarettes people brought over the lockdown period when it was not allowed to sell cigarettes. See the article:

“Cigarettes (12%) were more accessible than alcohol (3%) during lockdown. A quarter of people from informal settlements were able to buy cigarettes during lockdown.”
